Winwood is a beautiful non-gated community of homes in Orlando Florida.

Winwood has only one entrance and it is on the South side of Conroy Windermere Rd. immediately East of Dr. Phillips Blvd.

Winwood is a community consisting of just 40 homes.

Compared to most local subdivisions that is very small. The homes however are just as nice as many of the homes in much larger communities. There are only 3 streets in this neighborhood. Winwood Way, Underbrush Ln. and Thicket Ln. All three end in cul-de-sacs. There is no community park or community swimming pool. There are just quiet shaded streets and very nice homes. The homes range in sizes from approximately 2,083 sf. to 2,853 sf. of living area. The community was constructed between 1985 and 1988.  In the previous 4 years only 9 homes have sold. Needless to say, if you see a home for sale in Winwood I suggest you contact us. Properly priced homes can sell very fast in this area. There are thankfully similar communities nearby.

Winwood has several great things about it.

The most unique thing is the location. We locals often forget that we live in a location that people fly thousands of miles to visit. All of the most popular attractions are very close to Winwood. If you don’t feel like visiting one of the theme parks the Mall at Millenia and several other great choices are just minutes away to the East.

Local shopping is right outside of the community. There is a small shopping complex with a Fresh Market and a Drugstore right outside of the community’s’ entrance. There are also several other stores there. Publix Supermarket and other stores and Restaurants are just a few minutes to the West. No matter what needs you have everything is nearby. Winwood homes for sale are definitely worth a closer look.
