Wintermere Pointe the first community South of The Daniel Webster Western Beltway (429) on the West side of Winter Garden Vineland Road. The main entrance is just .6 miles from the 429. There is a second entrance on Tilden road. Both gates use electronic entrance.
Wintermere Pointe is a large gated community and has approximately 203 homes inside of its two entrances. Those homes average between 1,950 and 4,241 square feet of living space. The homes were constructed starting in 1999 and 2004. It is normal for communities this size to be completed in phases. There are 2 ponds that provide water view to the homes in this neighborhood and there are 26 waterfront homes. The pond on the North side of the community is obscured by a brick wall and I did not count it. One of my favorite things about this community is that it seems very open and not crowded. There are also sidewalks everywhere that can easily be used for exercise trails.
They are located on the North side of Wintermere Pointe Drive and South of the main entrance on Winter Garden Vineland Road. Not an amenity but definitely a convenience, there is a Walgreens and a couple of restaurants on the corner of Tilden Road and Winter Garden Vineland Road.
This part of Florida has been through a lot of modernization lately and the trend is continuing.
This is a great place to shop or eat a meal out. There is a Super Target, Lowes Hardware, Longhorn Steakhouse and a LA Fitness. Then add almost ½ of a square mile of shopping, dining and parking and you have the Winter Garden Village. When you find it all in one place, that place might be Wintermere Pointe.
