Its situated in Northwestern Windermere Florida. The Windermere Club is located on the Western shore of Lake Crescent. At one time, the Windermere Club had its own Golf Course but that is at least temporarily closed. The homes in this community are still some of the nicest in the area. Some of the homes in the community are being remodeled and the neighborhood is in good shape with an optimistic future.
The Windermere Club was started in the mid 1980’s and mostly completed by 2000 except for a handful of homes. The homes are luxurious and some have over 6,000 square feet of living area. If you want to enjoy a waterfront sunrise a lakefront home on Lake Crescent is a great choice. The lake has a surface area of 167 square acres and all of the homes on the lake are very nice homes.
The Northern entrance is on McKinnon Rd and the main entrance is the Southern entrance on Lake Butler Blvd. Lake Butler Blvd’s Eastern end is at Winter Garden Vineland Rd. and the Western End is at Maguire Rd. Winter Garden Vineland Road will provide the quickest route to The Daniel Webster Western Beltway (Toll Road) which is also called the 429. The 429 will take you to downtown Orlando in 20 minutes. Just North of the 429 access is the Winter Garden Village. The Winter Garden Village has a wide variety of shops, restaurants and stores. This is likely where you will do much of your shopping.
Windermere Town is East of The Windermere Club and just South on Maguire Rd. The town has a great history behind it and many of the history has been preserved for its residents to enjoy and share. A home in the Windermere Club may help you be part of Windermere’s bright future.
