The Willows at Lake Rhea is a luxury community in Northern Windermere.

The Willows at Lake Rhea is a non-gated community of 140+ homes many of which are waterfront or water view. Lake Rhea is a 10-acre lake on the Northern edge of the community. There are also 5 ponds spread around the community providing some very nice views. This is an attractive community to drive through. The Willows at Lake Rhea was built starting in 1985 and mostly completed by 1998. The homes range in size from 2,300 sf. to 7,700 sf. There is a wide variety of home sizes and the square footage does not include the garages. Several of the homes have sold for over one million dollars.

The entrance to this community is clearly marked and has a gazebo for when the weather turns inclement or the sun is just too hot. After driving into the community, you will soon come to a round-about with a pond in its center. On the Northwest side of it there is a community park with a sport court, children’s play area and 2 tennis courts. This is sitting in a large open are with sidewalks heading to and from the different portions of The Willows at Lake Rhea. It is very nicely laid out and well maintained.

As beautiful and tranquil as this community may be, you will eventually need to leave for one reason or another. Shopping and dining out can be accomplished at the Plantation Grove Shopping Center. It is just 1.5 miles away to your North and has a Publix Supermarket, Fire Station, restaurants and quite a few other things. There is also a My Kids Academy, 2 gas stations and a bank.

The Willows at Lake Rhea seems to have it all or at least be close to it.
