The Tradewinds is a condominium community in Orlando Florida. The Tradewinds can be found 5 miles west of downtown Orlando in Metrowest. This community is located less than 1-mile northwest of Valencia College’s West Campus and its’ main entrance is on S. Hiawassee Rd. and clearly marked.
The Tradewinds is a community of approximately 544 units. That is a lot of condos for one community. However, that was taken into consideration and there is plenty of parking and the community is spread out nicely. The amenities are very popular and some of the best in the area. There are two community pools spaced apart for the ease and use of residents. Yes, both pools have heated spas. If you are an active resident you will be glad to hear that there are two tennis courts which are both lighted. Also, there is actually a racquetball court and nice fitness center. By the large pond on the eastern side of the neighborhood there is a small beach area. Additionally, this is one of the communities with a car care area and is pet friendly.
Most of the units were built in the late 1980’s or early 1990’s. Many of these units are waterfront and have a great view of the pond. Once you see the amenities and pricing there is more. This is a great place for not only college students but for people who wish to be close to the action. Metrowest places you 10-minutes away from Universal Orlando Resort and all of its associated parks. In the same general area as Universal you can visit the Mall at Millenia or the Florida Outlet Mall.
As you can see The Tradewinds is a popular home in a great location. Many people travel many miles to have what is minutes from The Tradewinds at Metrowest.
