The area has been changing a lot in the last couple of years.
There are new communities and new shopping centers showing up around every corner. The reason for that is the location is great. It is away from it all but just around the corner. Everything you need is within just a couple of miles. Of course, if you like to visit or if you work at Disney then it is hard to find a nicer gated community that is any closer while still letting you feel like you actually get to live at home.
Disney’s Magic Kingdom is just 1.6 miles away.
If you need to reach the Daniel Webster that is only about 5 miles. If you want to go the nearest shopping community that is 3.7 miles away at the Lakeside Village Shopping Center. At Lakeside is a Publix Supermarket, a gas station and many shops, boutiques, restaurants and even a fitness center. The parking there is great and more shops are being built locally. To your West is Lake Hancock and it is amazing what is being built over there.
The Preserve is a great choice for those who choose Southern Windermere. If you see a home for sale at The Preserve at the Lakes of Windermere it is no doubt worth checking out.
