Stoneybrook West is a golfing community in Winter Garden Florida.

This is a large and beautiful community located South of downtown Winter Garden and surrounded by the area’s most beautiful lakes.

Stoneybrook West is just South of Black Lake, just East of John’s Lake and just to the West of Lake Tilden. These are three of the finest lakes in the area. The course is very well known and a full 18-hole course designed by the world re-nowned Arthur Hills who has designed over 180 golf courses. There are 48 Lakefront homes that are either on Black Lake or on the canal between Black Lake and Lake Tilden. Black Lake is a 212-acre lake and connected to Lake Tilden Via channel. Lake Tilden is a 40-acre lake. There is a boat ramp on the Western side of the community.

In Stoneybrook West there are also 17 ponds that have waterfront or water view homes beside them. The design of the course not only uses the ponds to make the course more challenging but more beautiful as well. There is also a preserve in the center of the community which looks like a pond on some maps but is not.

Hands down Stoneybrook West has the best community pool in Winter Garden.

It is large, has a children’s pool, it is very attractive and popular. Right next to the pool there is a mixed sport court, Full basketball court, 2 tennis courts, children’s playground, beach volleyball court and a very nice pier on Black Lake.

Outside of the community one half of a mile West is Stoneybrook West Village.

This is a shopping village and has a Publix Supermarket, Dry Cleaners, Day Spa, Restaurants, Child Care, Bank, Drugstore and several pizza parlors.  As you can see this community has everything very close to it. There is even much about the area that I have not covered.
