The community is a mature community but only because they recognized that this was a superior location long ago. The location is still really good. Just a short walk or drive from the community is The Grove. The Grove is one of the better shopping complexes in all of Windermere. There is an LA Fitness, Publix Supermarket and many other shops, restaurants and boutiques. Right across the street is The Shoppes of Windermere. The Shoppes has a Walmart Fresh Market a nice restaurant, a drugstore and more. A lot of what you need is within 1-mile North of the community.

Many people here visit or work at the local parks. Universal Orlando Resort and Volcano Bay are just minutes away. Very close to those parks are the Mall at Millenia, and The Florida Outlet Mall. On your drive home, you can swing by Restaurant Row in Dr. Phillips for a quality dining experience.

Silver Woods has many quality homes and residents and so does this area of Windermere.
