Sand Lake Point is a Lakefront Community in Orlando Florida.

Sand Lake Pointe is Located on the Western shore of Big Sand Lake. The community has 2 sections both have entrances on Darlene Dr./Smith Bennett Rd. One of the sections of Sand Lake Point is actually on Lake Crowell. Those homes are easily recognized by their street address. All of them are on Lake Crowell Cir.

Sand Lake Point is another very large community in Dr. Phillips.

Many of these homes are lakefront and there is a community boat ramp on the Northern side of Sandstone Dr. At the same location there are some tennis courts and plenty of parking. Big Sand Lake is a large lake and has a surface area of 1,041 square acres. That is more than enough room for watersports of most kinds.

Sand Lake Point has some of the nicer lakefront homes on Big Sand Lake.

There are 60 lakefront homes in the neighborhood. There are a couple of ponds and many of the homes have irregular shaped home lots that give them slightly larger yards. The community is filled with large trees and it is an attractive community to drive through. Even the entrances look good. The homes in the Big Sand Lake portion vary in size from approximately 1,889 sf. to 7,797 sf. of living space. They were built between the years of 1987 to 2006. The few homes on Lake Crowell Cir. vary in size from 2,026 sf. to 3,672 sf. and were built between the years 1996 and 2000. Either of these communities should have a home that will fit the needs of most families.

Although the community is very nice it is also great to know that Dr. Phillips Community Park is just to the South. It is a really large park with a lot to offer. Sand Lake Point may just be right for you.
