Overlook at Hamlin Horizons West 

The Overlook at Hamlin is a Horizons West community. The Overlook at Hamlin is located in Western Winter Garden Florida on the Southwest shore of Lake Hancock.

The Overlook at Hamlin is one of the several Hamlin communities in this area. Each Hamlin community has its’ distinct sign. Some of the communities even share amenities. The Overlook at Hamlin is one of the larger communities and has many lakefront homes. The size of the homes are approximately 1,716 to 5,752 sf. of living space. That is a good variety for a community. The larger homes are typically the lakefront homes. The first homes in the community were built in 2014 and the Overlook at Hamlin should be completed by late 2018.

Initially when the plans for this area were shown there was much excitement about it. Now after several years the excitement seems justified. The explosion of growth has been phenomenal and now many of the stores that are marketing to the residents are being completed. The area is really looking great. Another encouraging thing is the county’s willingness to protect the lake and the natural surroundings. Lake Hancock is a beautiful lake and looks like it will be enjoyed for generations to come.

People who look at homes in this area are attracted for several reasons. Of-course one is Lake Hancock which has 481 acres of beautiful clear water. Then there is the desire to be one of the first that get to be part of this spectacular development. One thing that cannot be overlooked is the great location of the Overlook at Hamlin. True many service providers and stores are moving here. It is still wonderful to have access to the Daniel Webster Western Beltway (429) right next to your home.
