Oaks at Brandy Lake is located North of West Colonial Drive and South of Lake Apopka. The community has 2 entrances. One on Plant Street and one on West Story Road right off of Plant Street.
The Oaks at Brandy Lake is a community comprised of both townhomes and traditional single-family homes. The townhomes are on the Eastern side of the community and there is parking in front of the townhomes. The Townhomes’ garages are in the rear. There are ponds in the community and waterfront and water view homes. The community has a very nice pool, amenities center and children’s playground. The single-family homes range in size from 1,660 sf. to over 3,500 sf. The largest townhomes are over 2,400 sf. This square foot calculation does not include garages. Most of this community was built between 2007 and 2012.
Less than ½ of a mile East on West Story Road is Veterans Memorial Park. This is a very large Park with a lot of features. One of the entrances is on Plant Street. If you go East on Plant Street you enter downtown Winter Garden. Centennial Park is a famous area in the city. Winter Gardens history is very interesting and unique. Most people just think Oranges built Florida. However, the Cedar trade had a lot to do with Winter Garden. The Railroad was here early on to take advantage of that industry. You can learn all about it downtown.
West Colonial Drive is 100 years old. It was the first road connecting Winter Garden with Orlando. It was a trade route then and it still is. There are many shops, stores and restaurants on this road. All close and convenient to The Oaks at Brandy Lake.
