Oakland Park has built upon the natural rolling grade of this area to maximize the water view and to extend it to as many home sites as possible. This planned community of over 250-acres is a wonderful addition to the area. It is located approximately 1.25 miles West of Centennial Park in Winter Garden Florida.
There are multiple builders allowed to build homes in this planned development and presently there are 42 available floor plans. Morris & Co is experienced with each builder. We highly suggest contacting us before visiting the site. David Weekly is offering the smallest floorplan with 1,650 square feet. This is currently the least amount of square footage available. The homes here vary a lot in appearance and the sizes with Vintage Estates Homes offering the largest floorplan of 4213 square feet of living space. The first homes were constructed in 2008 and construction continues. The community pool and amenities center or clubhouse is already in place and very nice. Next to the community pool is a children’s playground. There are lots of open spaces and trails throughout Oakland Park.
You can find it running East to West along the Northern Shore of Lake Brim. The West Orange Trail is part of the history of Winter Garden Florida and Lake Apopka. In the very early 1900’s the rail road came to this area to carry out Cedar Wood and Oranges. The trail closely follows the trains route and has many stations and pit stops along the way. The trail is jogged, bicycled and walked by many on a daily basis. There are some railroad ties left behind but very few. They are sticking out of a tree. Good luck in your search.
Oakland Park will be part of the scenery in this area from generations to come. Hopefully you will be also. Contact us today about any Oakland Park home for sale.
