Magnolia Wood is located on the Eastern Shore of beautiful Lake Apopka and on the West end of East Fullers Cross Road.
There are approximately 12 lakefront homes and home sites on Lake Apopka. The community is non-gated and contains approximately 60 homes and home sites. This is a typical Winter Garden diverse community. Some of the homes were built in the 1950’s and the newest homes were built in the early 2000’s. Location and quality is more of a determining factor on price than age in many cases. People 50 years ago also had good taste in location so some homes that are older in Winter Garden command fairly high prices compared to their neighbors. The homes in Magnolia Wood vary in size from 1,390 to 3750 sf. of living area. There is no community pool or community park.
Newton Park is just a few miles away to the South on the shore of Lake Apopka. Newton Park has a children’s playground, covered picnic areas, a fishing pier and a boat ramp. Also at Newton Park is Farnsworth Pool. Farnsworth Pool is a large public pool.
One of the best things about the lakeside location is your ability to commute from it. To the North is Fountains West. At Fountains West is a Publix Supermarket and the Daniel Webster Western Beltway (429) Toll Road access. You can also access the 429 an equal distance to the South. This is the best route for reaching destinations in greater Orlando. You can reach Universal Orlando Resort, Disney’s Magic Kingdom or downtown Orlando much quicker using the 429.
