Johns Cove is a community on John’s Lake.

John’s Cove is located on the Northern Shore of John’s Lake in Western Winter Garden Florida on the South side of West Colonial Drive. There is only one entrance to this community and it is on the West side of Remington Road.

John’s Cove is a gated luxury lakefront home community.

It even has its’ own boat ramp. John’s Cove consists of approximately 66 homes and home sites. There are 32 lakefront homes and 2 waterfront homes. The waterfront homes are on a small pond on the Western Side. The homes range in size from 2,236 sf. to over 6,700 sf. of living space. The community is an older community but just because this is a beautiful large lake and hard to keep secret. Most of the current homes were built between 2000 and 2016.

John’s Lake is one of the most popular lakes in central Florida. There are millions of dollars being spent on homes on its’ Southern shores in communities like Waterside and Hickory Hammock. However, John’s Cove probably has one of the best locations to enjoy the lake. The lake has 2,439-acres of surface area. That is almost 4 square miles of water which is much larger than the average lake in Florida.

The community is just 1/3 of a mile from accessing the Florida Turnpike. Not that you need the turnpike to access the shops and stores we have grown accustomed to. To the West just a few miles on West Colonial Drive is Clermont. Long before you reach Clermont you will pass many familiar stores such as Publix Supermarket and Target Supercenter.
