Island Pointe is non-gated community located just East of Gator Island and on the East side of North Fullers Cross Road.
The community has one entrance that is marked by an attractive white sign with blue lettering in the center of the entrance. There are no ponds, parks or community pools. However, Newton Park and Farnsworth Pool are less than 1-mile South. Newton Park has a children’s playground, boat ramp, fishing pier and more. Farnsworth Pool is a public pool and very big.
Island Pointe’s approximately 62 homes range in size from 1,648 to just under 3,000 square feet. This is a very nice, near the lake community. The first homes were built around 1990 and some were built in 2015. There is a mail station in the front of the community. You will notice as you drive through there are no mailboxes and while there are some large trees the community has open spaces and is very attractive and well taken care of.
Lake Apopka is a lake having 30,862 acres of surface area. That is over 48 square miles of lake. Many people enjoy this lake on a daily basis. Wildlife surrounds it as you will see.
People living on the lake still want the conveniences of the modern world. The good news is within 3 miles you have a lot of what you need. This includes 2 places to access the Daniel Webster Western Beltway (429) Toll Road. At the Northern access is Fountains West Publix Supermarket and the Forest Lake Golf Club. To the South is Plant Street and the many parks, shops, restaurants and history of Winter Garden FL. When Island Pointe has a home for sale it is worth a closer look.
