Hickory Lake Estates is on Lake Hickory Nut.

Hickory Lake Estates is located in South Western Winter Garden Florida on the Western Shore of Lake Hickory Nut. Lake Hickory nut is located West of the Daniel Webster Western Beltway (429) Toll Toad and the Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge. All Northwest of Disney’s Magic Kingdom.

Hickory Lake Estates is a small non-gated lakefront community.

The only sign is at the entrance and simply says Hickory Lake. The single entrance is on the Old YMCA Road and the entrance street is named Lake Hickory Nut Drive. The community is made up of 54 homes and home sites. Some of the homes have been here since the late 1950’s and others were built post 2000 era. The homes range in size from 1,400 to 4,300 square foot and all but 4 of the lots are on the lake and 2 of the remaining lots are on ponds. As a majority, this is an old Florida style lakefront community. The fences are made of posts and boards and the roads are shaded by large oak and cypress trees. You are teased with lakefront views that you get between the homes and the road just keeps on going until it dead ends. It is a unique beautiful place.

The community is off by itself or so it seems. Actually, you are just 2 miles from the 429 access. Hickory Lake Estates is only 5 miles from all of the modernization happening on New Independence Parkway to the North. All of the shops and stores you should ever need. Surprisingly you are only 7 miles from Disney’s Magic Kingdom.

As you can see this is a beautiful community is not only secluded and lakefront but actually very close to civilization. Hickory Lake Estates has more to offer than many lakefront communities.
