Glynwood is a gated community in Winter Garden Fl.

Glynwood is located .9 miles North of the Daniel Webster Western Beltway (429) Toll Road. The two entrances are located between Winter Garden Vineland Road and Daniels Road. Those two roads are connected by New Stone Crest Boulevard. The only community on this road is Glynwood. The signs on Winter Garden Vineland Road that leads to Glynwood say Stonecrest.

Glynwood is in two sections.

Glynwood I and Glynwood II and has many homes but they are seldom for sale. Glynwood II is on the Northern side. Both communities are gated and use electronic entry. The majority of the homes in the communities were completed between 2003 and 2007. I always try to give the age of the homes because in Florida new homes come with warranties. After a home is 10 years old most likely the warranties have passed. The homes range in size from 2,381 to 4,318 sf. of living area. This does not include garages etc. There are 3 ponds in the community but very few waterfront homes. There is no community pool or playground in Glynwood. Glynwood residents use the pool, tennis courts and playground across Daniels Road by the Fire Station and Foxcrest community which is very close by and has good parking.

The homes in Glynwood are very nice. The amenities that Glynwood uses are also very nice. Another great thing about the community is the superior location. Both Daniels Road and Winter Garden Vineland Road will take you to the 429 or West Colonial Drive. West Colonial Drive was the first road to connect Winter Garden to Orlando. Now it is covered with stores and service providers who want your business.

To the South is Winter Garden Village. This location has nearly ½ of a square mile of shops, stores, restaurants and parking. It is a very popular location and you will find yourself using it quite often due to the variety of stores and its’ convenient location.

The Daniel Webster Western Beltway (429) Toll Road is less than 1 mile from Glynwood.

This road can have you in downtown Orlando in 20 minutes. Universal Orlando Resort and Disney’s Magic Kingdom are both within 20 minutes if you time it right. While you are in the vicinity of Universal you can visit the Mall at Millenia, the Florida Mall or The Florida Outlet Mall. As you can see Glynwood is in a spectacular location with much to offer.
