Glenmuir has 10 ponds inside of its’ gates providing both water view and waterfront lots to many of its approximately 230 homes. The homes in this community range in size from 2,019 square feet to over 3,600 square feet of living space. This does not include the garage. The majority of this subdivision was built between 2001 and 2003. Immediately after entering Glenmuir you approach the community park. It has a small sport court and a gazebo but no community pool. Glenmuirs’ entrance is on Winter Garden Vineland Rd. The Entrance is wide and easy to pull in and out of.
This part of Windermere is very popular and is just now completing a lot of modernization. There are several very high-end luxury neighborhoods in the vicinity of Glenmuir. There is a good reason. This is a great part of Windermere.
The community is separated from Lake Butler only by a portion of the Lake Butler Sound community. Less than 1 mile to the North of Glenmuir is Windermere Preparatory School. One of the best private schools in this state. Twice that distance will get you to The Cornerstone Publix Shopping complex where there are several shops and eateries. To the South of Glenmuir just 1.4 miles gets you to Lakeside Village where there is another Publix, a gas station and many shops, restaurants and boutiques.
Disney’s Magic Kingdom is a 5.5 mile drive South, Universals’ Orlando Resort and Volcano Bay are a 10.4 mile drive to your East. As you can see Glenmuir is very centrally located. I have not even scratched the surface on what is available within a 5 mile radius. There is much discovery awaiting you after you select that home for sale in Glenmuir.
