Fuller’s Oak is located in Northern Winter Garden Florida on The North side of East Fullers Cross Road. The entrance is between Lake Apopka and the Daniel Webster Western Beltway (429).
The community also has a dog park and a “tot lot” or children’s play area. The homes will be built between 2016 and 2018. They will range in size from 2,537 to over 5,000 square feet having up to 8 bedrooms. Prices originally started at over $400,000 for these homes and the community is very nice. It does not have a community pool, however there is a large public pool on the Eastern shore of Lake Apopka named Farnsworth Pool. Adjacent to Farnsworth Pool is Newton Park. Newton Park is very nice and has a boat ramp on Lake Apopka. On the West side of Fuller’s Oak is the famous West Orange Trail. Follow it South for a mile and you will be at Chapin Station which also has a very nice park.
Lake Apopka is a very large lake. It is relatively shallow having an average mean depth of only 7 feet. However, the lake has 30,862-acres of surface area. That is a really big lake when you consider there are 640 square acres in a square mile. Many people enjoy this lake on a regular basis. Even if you do not like to partake in lake activities or sports it is beautiful to look at. This is why Newton Park is on its’ Shore.
Sooner or later you will want to leave and shop. 2 miles North is both access to the 429 and a Publix Supermarket. 1.5 miles South is 429 access to all of Orlando and the surrounding area. Or you can easily venture into the heart of Winter Garden for some great shopping there. There are many local reasons to seriously consider o Fuller’s Oak home for sale.
