Fairway Cove is a non-gated community in Orlando Florida. Fairway Cove is located in a planned development known as Metrowest. The area known commonly as downtown Orlando is approximately 5 miles to the east from Fairway Cove.

Fairway Cove is a community of approximately 139 traditional single-family homes. Of those homes 14 homes are lakefront on Lake Hiawassee and other homes could be considered waterfront because of community ponds. This community was built between the years of 1988 and 2002. The Lakefront homes are 6663 Crenshaw Dr. through 6557 Fairway Hill Ct. Most of the lakefront homes were built in 1989-1991 and they average 2,300-3,200 square feet of living space. This is one of the more affordable places to get a nice lakefront home west of downtown Orlando. All of the lakefront homes will normally have a Florida sunset as most of them face the east.

The rest of the homes in Fairway Cove are just as attractive but just not lakefront. The homes vary in size from approximately 1,969 square feet to 3,381 square feet with just a few exceptions. There are 15 homes on the southern side which view the local golf course.

Valencia College’s West Campus is less than 1 mile away. Along with the college there are several shops, stores, restaurants and supermarkets all within a 5 minute drive from this community.
