Emerald Forest is a community of homes West of Big Sand Lake on the East side of South Apopka Vineland Rd.

There are only two entrances and they are both on Buenavista Woods Blvd. Emerald Forest is about 4.25 miles Southwest of Universal Orlando Resort.

The community has a pool, tennis courts, sport court a volleyball court and pool house. The amenities are shared with Diamond Cove and are on Buenavista Woods Blvd Between the communities. The amenities are nice and I have personally seen them. They looked well maintained and the pool was in use. Emerald Forest is another large Dr. Phillips Community. This is a very popular area so many homes were built here. The community has some great features and is full of really nice homes.

Some people like larger than average yards and some like to live on culde-sacs because of personnel reasons. This community has 14 culde-sacs so the chances of seeing homes for sale in a culde-sac are fairly good. There are three ponds here providing water views and there are 26 waterfront homes on the ponds and 16 lakefront homes on Lake Crowell. Lake Crowell has a surface area of under 20-acres but is still a decent sized attractive lake.

The homes in Emerald Forest range in size from 2,311 to 4,912 sf. of living space.

Those are respectable numbers for any community when you consider they do not include garage spaces etc. The homes here were built between 1995 and 2000. Taking 5 years to build a community this size is also quite normal as it was built in phases. The Market history of Emerald Forest over the last 5 years has 10 homes selling every year. Once again that is perfect for a community this size apparently the residents realize that a beautiful home in Emerald Forest is a great thing to have.
