Diamond Cove is a non-gated community in Dr. Phillips Florida.

The community is located on the West side of Big Sand lake. It has two entrances both of which are on Buena vista Woods Blvd. The entrances are close together but the community is surprisingly big.

Diamond Cove has 3 ponds providing water view to the residents and one lake with lakefront homes.

The Lake is Lake Crowell and it has a surface area of under 20-acres. That is still large enough to get a lot of enjoyment from. Diamond Cove has a community pool, 2 tennis courts and a sport court with plenty of parking.

Diamond Cove has approximately 235 homes in its community.

Of those homes 17 are lakefront homes and 19 waterfront homes on the ponds. There are 9 culde-sacs providing larger than average lots for their homes. The homes in the neighborhood range in size from 1,907 sf. to nearly 3,800 sf. of living area. These calculations do not include garage spaces etc.

Due to the size of the community there are normally homes for sale here. Over the last 5 years of market history there have been 12 homes sell per year. That is a normal number and the areas average per 100 homes. This community was built between 1993 and 1998 so there is a good bit of market history.

If you are looking for a community that is attractive and affordable this is a good option. The homes look like they are taken care of and you do not get a lot of traffic in the community because there are two entrances. If you live toward the middle or the rear you get even less.

The area is close to many things to do including shopping, dining and activities. If you are into fitness the Dr. Phillips Park is a short Jog to the South and it is quite an impressive park. If you have children they will most likely love the Splash Park. Diamond Cove may be the right choice for you.
