Covington Park is a larger non-gated community located between Lake Apopka and The Daniel Webster Western Beltway (429) and North of Plant Street. Covington Park has 3 entrances. One on the Western side by the community pool and children’s playground, one on the Northeastern side on Hennis Road which is plainly marked and easy to notice and one on the Southwest corner on East Division Street which is also has community signs.
The majority of the homes were built between 2007 and 2015. The homes range in size from 1,515 and 3,050 square feet of living space. This does not include garages etc. Covington Park is in an older part of Winter Garden Florida. The streets around this part of town have lots of shade trees and many of the homes are single homes and not in the communities like we have today. Luckily Covington Park found room in this part of town.
Covington Park is centrally located between Newton Park on Lake Apopka and the 429. Newton park has most of what you need to enjoy Lake Apopka and the 429 has what you need to travel to Orlando’s other attractions. Namely Universal’s Orlando Resort, Volcano Bay, Disney’s Magic Kingdom and other Disney Attractions. Most of them are 20-25 minutes away. If you want to visit or work toward Orlando there are other routes you can take also.
Within 5 miles of Covington Park is The West Oaks Mall and Theater, Ocoees' Hospital and Super Walmart. When you combine that with the local parks and downtown Winter Garden you are going to have plenty of choices. As you can see, Covington Park is a great place to look at homes for sale.
