Courtlea Park is a non-gated community located on the North side of East Division Street and the West side of The West Orange Trail. This community has only one entrance and it is clearly marked. There is a large community sign on both sides of the entrance and the street name is Courtlea Park Drive.
Most of the homes were constructed in 2006 and 2007. The homes range in size from 2,290 to 3,525 square feet of living space. There is no community pool or community park but Courtlea Park is right next to the famous West Orange Trail and not far from Newton Park.
The area is typical lakeside Winter Garden. Lots of trees, sidewalks and you can tell that it is an established community. You would almost forget that Lake Apopka is less than one half of a mile away. One of the best places to go and enjoy Lake Apopka is Tanner Hall on 29 W. Winter Garden Avenue. There is a nice park there with a boat ramp, a fishing pier and a children’s playground. Newton Park is the name of the Park and Farnsworth Pool is the name of the public pool. This combination of the park and pool being so close to Courtlea Park makes up for not having a community pool or the typical small park.
As you can see there are some advantages to living in the city of Winter Garden. I have not even touched on its culture and rich history. Centennial Park just to your West on Plant Street is where you can find out all of the best information on Winter gardens history. There is enough here to keep you content and optimistic. A home for sale in Courtlea Park may just be a great place for you.
