Chapin Station is Located between the Daniel Webster Western Beltway (429) and Lake Apopka.The community has 2 entrances one on Crown Point Cross Road. This entrance is not marked. It is across from a warehouse and has a red brick wall on both sides but no sign. The Other entrance is on West Crown Point Road and it is clearly marked with large signs on both sides of the entrance.
The homes were mostly built in 2004-2005 and range in size from 1,778-3,334 square feet of living space. Living space does not include garages. The community has two large ponds providing water view to many of the homes. The community is next to the West Orange Trail. This is a historic trail and part of Winter Garden Florida’s history. It more or less simulates the path the rail road used to take in the early 1900’s. Chapin Station is also the name of part of the trail. There is a complete park on this trail right next to the community. It is a beautiful park and the trail goes all of the way around Southern Lake Apopka.
There is access to the 429 1.3 miles South on Plant Street. This road will help you commute to many places of interest in the Orlando Area. It is not a necessity but it can be time saving. To the North 2.5 miles is Fountains West which has a couple of stores and a Publix Supermarket.
Just 1 mile to the South of Chapin Station is Plant Street. Plant Street is Winter Garden Florida. The historic sites are here and many of the local government buildings are either on Plant Street or close to it. There is much to discover in Winter Garden Florida. Chapin Station is a great place to start.
