Burchshire is a non-gated and unmarked community of homes on the South side of West Story Road and the West side of S Park Avenue. The community is located immediately South of Veterans’ Memorial Park.
The homes are smaller homes ranging in size from just over 700 square feet to just over 1,800 square feet of living space. Some of these homes were built in the early 1900’s and some after the year 2000. The newer the home, the larger the home almost without exception. There is no community pool or community park inside of the subdivision.
This is a very large and really nice park. There are 4 tennis courts, 2 basketball courts, volleyball courts and baseball fields to accompany the large shaded areas. All right across the street from Burchshire.
To the North is Plant Street in Winter Garden Florida.
Plant Street is a famous street and it is where you will find Centennial Park. Winter Gardens historical past is kept here in museums and the preservation of some of the buildings that were here back in its’ beginning.
To the South of Burchshire is W. Colonial Drive. West Colonial Drive extends all of the way through Northern Orlando Florida. This Road was the first road connecting Winter Garden Florida to Orlando. You can still take Colonial Drive to Orlando and I have on occasion myself. Along the way you will pass the Ocoee Hospital and then then the West Oaks Mall. The West Oaks Mall has the AMC West Oaks Theater.
It is hard to beat the affordability of Burchshire in Winter Garden. It is hard to beat the location of any Burchshire homes for sale.
