Bay Vista Estates has only two entrances and they are both on South Apopka Vineland Road South of Sand Lake Road in Dr. Phillips. Both entrances are clearly marked with the community name on both sides of the entrance.
Of those homes 44 are lakefront homes on Big Sand Lake and 20 others could be called waterfront because they are located on ponds. There is a community boat ramp on the Northern portion of Bay Vista Estates Blvd.
There are 2 community tennis courts and a basketball court. You can park at the boat ramp to use either the basketball court or tennis courts. There is an iron fence with a gate to allow you access to the tennis courts. The roads have a lot of culde-sacs and turns what this means for the potential buyer is larger than average lots for many of the homes. The homes in Bay Vista Estates range in size from 1,918 sf. to well over 6,000 square feet. The median sized home is 2,542 sf. Most of the homes in this subdivision were built between 1983 and 2000. With a community the size of Bay Vista Estates you expect to see quite a few homes for sale. However, in the last 5 years only 50 homes have sold.
You have great roads for commuting and of course the lakes and local theme parks. Often overlooked is how close you are to the three best shopping malls in Orlando.
