Banana Bay is located on the Eastern side of Winter Garden Vineland Road one half of a mile South of The Daniel Webster Western Beltway (429). Banana Bay has two entrances that do not join inside of the community. Both entrances are clearly marked by community signs and are about 700 feet apart.
This is not a gated community but it is a very nice on. Almost half of the homes are waterfront either on a pond or Lake Luntz. Most of the homes were built in the 1990’s. The homes range in size from just under 2,200 square feet to 4,358 square feet of living area. The Southern section on Banana Bay Drive has some homes that are not waterfront. There is a nice park area and beach on the Eastern side of the central pond. The community is a very nice, clean and well-maintained community. After driving around in it I was surprised it was not gated. One can only guess that is an example of how great this area of Winter Garden Florida is.
Rarely will you ever need to shop anywhere further than a couple of miles from your new home in Banana Bay. At the Winter Garden Village, there is a Lowes Hardware Store, Target Supercenter, restaurants and a LA Fitness to help you deal with how good the restaurants were.
If you choose to venture out of the area to visit downtown Orlando, the local parks or maybe one of Orlando’s shopping malls the 429 can have you there in 20-25 minutes. Banana Bay homes for sale are rare, if one is available see it soon.
